A SHORT BUT HONEST NOTE OF CONCERN
Sometimes my Dad uses Google Translate to do translation work for him when he just doesn’t have the option of consulting me. Well he used it again recently, and asked me to check over the output; when I remarked that I didn’t have anything to correct about it, it was then that he told me that the material in question was in fact an output from Google Translate. And he told me that he was worried that machine translators could jeopardise the business of human translators.
Right now, I can’t wait to post my new blog – the one with an English translation of a Hungarian newspaper article – when I’m ready.
